Security Guard - Clarksville

Title: Security Guard
Location: TN-Clarksville (Nashville region)
The Security Guard is responsible for keeping a safe environment for our patients, visitors, volunteers, staff and physicians.

The Security Guard must promote good public relations for the department and Gateway Medical Center while maintaining patient/customer confidentiality. The Security Guard applies and implements the philosophy, goals and objectives of Gateway Medical Center.
REQUIRED:
* High School Diploma
* Must obtain and maintain certification for Unarmed Security Guard in the State of TN within 90 days of employment.
* Must have valid driver's license

PREFERRED:
* Guard experience with a security company or law enforcement agency is preferred, but is not required.
* Some college preferred, but not required.

BASIC PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Security Guard must work in conditions, which might place him/her in a position of personal danger; must walk, stand or run in all types of weather, up and down stairs, etc.; must have the temperament to maintain a state of calmness in the face of adversity and danger.
